ASports, the biggest sports channel in Pakistan, received a record-breaking viewers during the recently finished FIFA World Cup 2022.
Pakistan, a country with a strong football fan community, received minute-by-minute updates on the major event from ASports, a part of the ARY Group.
Imran Ahmad Khan, senior vice president of ASports, disclosed that throughout the month-long main event, the channel had over 201 million views.
Imran noted that 128 million people watched the FIFA World Cup on the ASports TV channel while posting the information on Twitter.
On ARY ZAP, the main event was streamed live to over 25 million viewers, while over 48 million people viewed match highlights on ARY ZAP and ASports’ YouTube and Facebook pages.
ARY ZAP recorded 1.6 million concurrent users while more than 35 million viewers watched the World Cup on the live and on-demand services, including social media channels.
