For the two-Test series against New Zealand, which will begin at Karachi’s National Bank Cricket Arena on Monday, 26 December, Pakistan has named fast bowler Hasan Ali and uncapped middle-order hitter Kamran Ghulam to its 16-player team.
Azhar Ali, who announced his retirement last week, has been replaced by Kamran, while Hasan Ali has replaced Mohammad Ali, who, like Faheem Ashraf, has been encouraged to compete in the Pakistan Cup currently taking place in Karachi.
