Nawaz Sharif will Returned Home soon, Sanaullah

Federal Minister for Interior Rana Sana Ullah along with Federal Minister for Information

Prior to the approaching elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah asserted that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan with “honour” after overcoming the legal obstacles (KP).

Sanaullah stated that the PML-N supremo will arrive in the nation shortly and will preside over the party’s parliamentary board to determine candidates for the elections.

Given that the general elections in Pakistan’s largest provinces are anticipated to take place within 90 days, he advised that “a few top party officials, including me, should retire to run election campaign along with Nawaz Sharif.”

Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), expressed his desire to dissolve the legislature last week, and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also been dissolved.

The PTI has urged the federal government to call for the dissolution of all legislatures, including the National Assembly, and the holding of nationwide general elections.

The party chairman, who was dismissed as prime minister in April of last year, insisted repeatedly that new elections were the best way to address the political and economic issues facing the nation.

The PML-N leadership will determine whether the minister stays in the federal cabinet or moves to Punjab, the minister said in response to a question.

He recommended that “Nawaz Sharif should arrive in Lahore” and promised that upon his return from London, where he has been residing since 2019, he will receive an extraordinary welcome.

According to Sanaullah, his homecoming will alter the political landscape of the nation. The PML-N leader would hold mass gatherings across Punjab once he arrives in the nation, the interior minister remarked.

In response to a query regarding the judiciary, the minister stated that while they respect the system and think that it would deliver justice to all, they had concerns about a few judges.

According to the interior minister, it is up to the relevant institutions, not the government, to decide whether to arrest PTI Chairman Khan.

I informed Gen. (Ret.) Bajwa that he had harmed me.
The interior minister then informed the journalists that former army head General (retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa and former intelligence chief Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hamid would both publicly acknowledge their “wrong” actions today.

“Nawaz Sharif has made it plain that we were harmed. Now that those who offended us have also acknowledged their error, “The minister criticised the previous army commander in his statement.

The PML-N elder had blamed Gen (retd) Bajwa and Lt Gen (retd) Hamid for the current state of affairs in the country in his chat with journalists a day earlier.

When the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) administration was put in place in 2018, the former prime minister accused the ex-military men of using Pakistan to further their own agendas and whims.

Sanaullah also criticised the previous military leadership, asking how it was possible for an institution to file a case against him without the previous army chief’s consent.

“I admitted your wrongdoing to Gen (ret’d) Bajwa. I also instructed the organisations looking into the case to arrest me if they found any evidence “added the interior minister.
