US claims airstrikes in Syria killed two ISIS commanders.

US Army atted on ISIS

US claims there were no civilian casualties in the attack.

In a helicopter operation in eastern Syria early on Sunday morning, American security personnel killed two senior Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) or Daesh officials.

One of the dead commanders has been identified by US Central Command as Anas, the provincial leader of the terrorist group Daesh.

According to officials, Anas participated in the planning of operations in eastern Syria.

ISIS continues to pose a threat to the security and stability of the region, according to US CENTCOM Spokesperson Joe Buccino. This operation reaffirms CENTCOM’s strong commitment to ensuring that the group is totally defeated.

“The execution of these ISIS officials would hamper the terrorist group’s ability to further plan and carry out disruptive actions in the Middle East,” he continued.
